AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS USING VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR

A flow rate sensor (21) is provided in an air conditioning apparatus provided with a cooling medium circulation circuit having a variable displacement-type compressor (11). The flow rate sensor detects collision force of a cooling medium flowing in the cooling medium circulation circuit and generates a collision force detection value. A discharge capacity of the variable displacement compressor is controlled by the reference of the collision force detection value. The discharge capacity may be controlled in such a way that collision force of the cooling medium and electromagnetic force are applied in opposite directions to a valve portion that introduces a discharged cooling medium to a crank chamber, and when the collision force is greater than the electromagnetic force, the valve portion is opened so that the collision force is closer to the electromagnetic force.
