An information processing device through which information is input. The keyboard layout of a software keyboard is allocated to a part of a pressure detection panel (4) and, on a display unit (3), only a marker indicating the home position (base position) of the software keyboard is normally displayed. Executing input processing of characters into the character entry columns and so on from the software keyboard executes the input operation into an information screen displayed on the display unit (3) without using input devices such as a mouse or a hardware keyboard.
