<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat exchange performance and to clean blowing-out air by facilitating cleaning of the inside of the indoor unit of an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A housing of the indoor unit comprises a base 7 fixing a heat exchanger 5, a pair of right and left side plates 8 and 9 having opened back surface and inside, a casing 11 integrally having a drip pan section 10 for receiving dew condensation water flowing down from the heat exchanger 5 in an blow-out opening 4 and on the upper surface of the blow-out opening 4, and a suction grill 12 of which upper surface and front surface have a suction port 2 of the inside air and right and left sides are adhered to the side plates 8 and 9. A pair of right and left shaft bodies 15A and 15B or a bearing section are disposed in a clearance 14 formed between the blow-out opening 4 and the drip pan section 10 above it, a bearing section 16 or a shaft body corresponding to the shaft bodies 15A and 15B or the bearing section are disposed at the lower end of the suction grill 12, and a mounting guide and a stopper of an air filter are disposed on the back surface side of the suction grill 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
