PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic imaging apparatus having a dust removing mechanism, capable of vibrating a dustproof filter under an optimal state without complicating the driving circuit of a piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: When the voltage of a battery 154 measured by means of an ADC 160 exceeds a specified level, a dustproof filter drive circuit 140 is controlled, such that the dustproof filter 21 vibrates at a frequency deviated from the resonance frequency. When the voltage of the battery 154, measured by means of an ADC 160, is lower than the specified level, the dustproof filter driving circuit 140 is controlled, such that the dustproof filter 21 vibrates at the resonance frequency.
