PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an simplified and inexpensive ultrasonic survey system having stable precision allowing detection for an inclined water bottom, and allowing digitalization for a complicated and expensive analogue signal processing part. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic survey system is provided with a transmission part (TX,TD1,TD2) for transmitting an ultrasonic signal, a reception part (TD1,TD2,AMP1,AMP2) comprising a plurality of reception elements for receiving a reflected wave, reflected by a body, of the transmitted ultrasonic signal to output a reception signal, an azimuth detecting part (ARG) for detecting a direction of the body based on arrangement of the plurality of reception elements and a phase difference between the reception signals output from the respective reception elements, a distance/reflection intensity detecting part (ADD,ABS,DSP) for detecting a distance to the body and reflection intensity therein based on an appearance time and an amplitude of the reception signal, a display processing part (DSP,DIS) for processing a position data including the distance and the reflection intensity to image-display the body, and a water bottom detecting means (DSP) for detecting the water bottom in every direction.
