PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot switch faucet reducing malfunction operated against a user's intention by disposing a foot operation means having a pedestal part surrounding an operation part. SOLUTION: The foot operation means 30 is provided with a cable switch 31 opening/closing electric connection by a pushing pressure, the operation part transmitting the pushing pressure to a cable switch 31 by the operation of a foot part, and the pedestal part 33 provided adjacent to the operation part 32 and mounting the foot part. This device is so constituted that, when the foot part is mounted on the pedestal part 33, the operation part 32 pushes the cable switch 31 by the operation of the foot tip projecting from the pedestal part 33.
