PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt tensioner reducing the manufacturing manhour, the weight, and the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This belt tensioner comprises an outer ring 1 having a belt abutment surface in the outer circumferential side, an inner ring 2, a rolling body 3 disposed between the outer/inner rings, and a retainer 4 retaining the rolling body, and a sleeve 5 is press-fitted in the inner ring 2 of a bearing part. The cylindrical part 5a of the sleeve 5 is formed with a boss part 5b formed with an abutment surface 5c for being fixed to a fixing part in one end and a flange part 5d in the other end part.
