PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indolocarbazole imide for producing a pharmaceutical composition, which is used for the treatment and/or as a prophylactic and an immunosuppressant against cancers, virus diseases, heart and vascular diseases, bronchopulmonary diseases, central nervous system degenerative diseases, inflammatory diseases, immune system disorders and psoriasis. SOLUTION: The indolocarbazole imide compound represented by general formula I and its use are obtained. The compound can be used for the treatment and/or as a remedy and an immunosuppressant against cancers, virus diseases (e.g. HIV infection), heart and vascular diseases (e.g. hypertension, thrombosis, heart rhythm disorder and atherosclerosis), bronchopulmonary diseases, central nervous system degenerative diseases (e.g. Alzheimer's disease), inflammatory diseases (e.g. rheumatism and arthritis), immune system disorders (e.g. allergy) and psoriasis.
