PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock learning control unit of an internal combustion engine for rapidly performing the knock learning to meet changes in fuel properties even when the fuel properties are suddenly changed. SOLUTION: In a knock learning control unit of an internal combustion engine to calculate the knock learning value according to detection information of a knock detecting means to detect the knock intensity of the internal combustion engine and control the operation of the internal combustion engine, the learning gain of the knock learning value is increased for a predetermined period if fuel supply is detected.
