PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a motor fan capable of driving a generator and a compressor with the minimum torque and improving fuel consumption of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A first command value and a second command value for fulfilling each performance requirements of an engine 20 and a compressor 30 are calculated according to temperature of cooling water of the engine 20 and pressure of coolant of the compressor 30 and a greater one thereof is established as a first target value of a duty ratio for controlling the motor fan 70. A total torque is calculated by adding torque of the generator 10 and torque of the compressor 30 and a duty ratio to minimize the total torque with correction based on speed of the blower fan 51 and outside temperature detected by an outside temperature sensor 110 is established as a second duty ratio. The motor fan is controlled based on a greater one of the first target value and the second target value. Consequently, the compressor and the generator can be driven with the minimum torque even if air conditioning requirement varies, fuel consumption of the vehicle is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
