摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation system for a ship putting further importance to decision of a will and enabling establishment of the arts of a ship where a scheduled on-time operation and energy saving operation are compatible with each other. SOLUTION: The operation system comprises an ETA calculator 4 to calculate the estimated arrival time for a ship based on a control ship speed 5; a ship speed calculator 13 to calculate a control ship speed 5 at the finite number of sections between the finite number of position points A, B, and C on a ship course; and an actuator 7 to control a blade angle based on the control ship speed 5. The control ship speed 5 is defined on a global coordinate system and the control ship speed 5 is calculated such that a specified arrival time being specified is confined with an estimated arrival time 12 in an allowable range. Therefore, simultaneous equations is set in the ship speed calculator 13. The control ship speed 5 is a specified value in principle. It is firstly important to arrive at a destination arrival time and it is secondly important in a point of fuel cost reduction that a speed against a current speed during navigation is constant.
