PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which stabilizes the locations of a transfer roller and a bearing and prevents the movement of a recording medium caused by the movement of the transfer roller, to thereby improve the sticking accuracy of the recording device without an increase in cost. SOLUTION: The recording device is formed of the transfer roller, a driven roller driven for rotation by the transfer roller, a pressing means for pressing the driven roller to the transfer roller, the bearing for bearing the transfer roller, and a driving means and a driving force transfer means for rotating the transfer roller. The bearing has two abutting portions which bear the circumference of the transfer roller in the following manner. That is, a direction that is perpendicular to a line segment connecting the two abutting portions together falls in a variable range of a vector direction of an operating force applied to the bearing when the transfer roller is stopped or activated.
