PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat-shrink and heat-transfer a pictorial pattern layer by a heat-shrinkable film onto the whole curved circumferential surface of a dish with curved circumferential surface. SOLUTION: In this dish with pictorial pattern layer by heat-shrinkable film and its production method, a composite layer film CF consisting of a heat-shrinkable film layer 1, the pictorial pattern layer 3 such as picture or pattern formed on one side of the heat-shrinkable film through a release agent layer 2 by printing, and an adhesive layer 4 to be applied throughout to the upper surface side of the pictorial pattern layer is prepared. The composite layer film is formed in a cylindrical shape with the adhesive layer inside, and the cylindrical composite layer film is applied throughout to the curved circumferential surface 21 of the dish (bowl-like dish) 20 with curved surface, and subjected to a heat shrinkage treatment of heat-shrinking it by heat treatment. Thereafter, the pictorial pattern layer 3 of the composite layer film is heat-transferred to the dish (bowl-like dish) 20 with curved surface by a heat transfer device comprising a heat transfer roller 10, and the outermost layer of the composite layer film is coated with a surface treatment layer 6.
