PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting schizophrenia in which genetic diagnosis of the schizophrenia is carried out and to provide a diagnostic agent. SOLUTION: The method for detecting the schizophrenia comprises using an oligonucleotide containing at least 15 continuous nucleotide sequences of a base sequence represented by a specific sequence, an oligonucleotide primer having a specific sequence or an antibody binding to an amino acid sequence represented by a specific sequence or its fragment.
