A holder, comprising a holding shank (2) and a support body (4) for supporti ng a cleaning wipe rotatably connected to the tip of the holding shank, the support body (4) further comprising sliding surfaces (39a-39d) and recessed parts (38a-38e) alternately disposed around the rotating centerline (Or) thereof, the holding shank (2) further comprising a lock member (50) allowed to come into the recessed parts (38a-38e), wherein the rotating centerline (Or) of the support body (4) is directed in a direction crossing the axial centerline (Os) of the holding shank (2), the lock member (50) is movable in the direction of the axial centerline (Os) in the holding shank (2), and an energizing member (55) providing an energizing force to the lock member (50) in the direction of the recessed parts (38a-38e) and operating members (70, 270) moving the lock member (50) against the energizing force are furnished with the lock member (50).
