<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably, quickly and simply detect curling-up in a label 2 being put on a container 4. <P>SOLUTION: The container 4 being conveyed by a carrier conveyer 6 is rotated by a difference in the speed of belts 12, 14 at both sides. Cameras 8A, 8B, 8C, and 8D are installed at the side section of the conveyer 6, and the container 4 on which the label 2 is put while being wound is photographed four times for each 90 degrees for imaging an entire circumference. A recognition means 24 of a controlling apparatus 10 recognizes the image as image data corresponding to luminance. At the backside of the label 2, the luminance is higher than the surface and the outside of the container 4, a binarization level is set so that only the backside of the label 2 is shown, and a detection means 26 detects a portion having at least specific luminance as a curled-up portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
