<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a hydraulic cylinder suppressing the pressure increase caused by operating fluid accumulated in a space part between a first U-shaped packing and a second U-shaped packing. <P>SOLUTION: This rod seal structure of a hydraulic cylinder is provided with a piston 4 attached to a piston rod 5 so as to movably in a cylinder 1, and slidably seals and supports the piston rod via the first packing 13, the second packing, and a wiper seal 15 disposed in the cylinder 1 in series in this order. The hydraulic cylinder is also provided with an operating oil absorbing member 21 absorbing the surplus operating fluid intruding into the space part S between the first packing 13 and the second packing 14 between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
