<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a synchronous motor having good motor efficiency and good controllability of a low torque ripple. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of the synchronous motor includes a harmonic voltage compensating value calculating unit 16 for referring current command amplitude values SIQC, SIDC, rotor position detection values singular value decomposition and rotor speed detection values star program diameter to be applied to the motor 10, calculating, adding and combining voltage compensating values SVBCC, SVACC of a synchronous frequency and a plurality of arbitrary high order frequencies. Voltage compensating values SVBCC, SVACC calculated by this calculating unit 16 are added to voltage command values SVU, SVV and SVW. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
