<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply apparatus that can control the total number of stored power source modules through the number of stack levels of a plurality of case units, and can firmly stack and couple the plurality of case units against displacement. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus stores a plurality of power source modules 1 in a vertical multilevel stack arrangement in a holder case 2. The holder case 2 is a stack structure of a plurality of case units 2A that are placed in a multilevel stack, and incorporates power source modules 1 in each case unit 2A. The case units 2A stacked together have a plurality of fitting projections 27 on one of opposite surfaces opposed in the stack state, and have fitting recesses 28 in which the fitting projections 27 can be fitted on the other opposite surface.
