<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water base pigment dispersion for a water base pigment recording fluid which has dispersion stability equal to or higher than the conventional one and excellent various durabilities in the resin system containing an acrylic resin and a curing agent. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing the water base pigment dispersion for a water base pigment recording fluid comprises mixing a pigment (A), an epoxy group-free, anionic group-containing (meth)acrylate polymer (B), and an anionic group-free, epoxy group-containing organic compound (C) in such a manner that the acid value of the mixture of the polymer (B) and the organic compound (C) comes to more than 150 to 245, and dispersing them into an aqueous medium to effect crosslinking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
