<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module in which thermal stress and dielectric breakdown are prevented in mounting and a stress given to input output terminals is suppressed when an optical plug is put on or removed, and to provide a method of mounting the optical communication module and an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The optical communication module is provided with a main body 2 having a holder part 2a which detachably holds the optical plug furnished at the end part of an optical fiber. An input/output substrate 6 is arranged under the main body 2, and an electrode part to which an electric connection is possible with a contact pressure is furnished under the input/output substrate 6. Further, supporting parts 12 and 13 which projecting downward from the lower face of the input/output substrate 6 and a peripheral part 9 are furnished on the lower side of the main body 2, and the main body 2 is fixed to a mounted substrate 21 with a screw 31 by using a screw hole 7 furnished on the side of the holder part 2a of the main body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
