PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing apparatus or the like capable of quickly and properly grasping reproduction contents of reproduction information whose reproduction is to be resumed and performing reproduction processing. SOLUTION: The information reproducing apparatus includes: a memory 9 that stores stop position information to particularize a part in a title whose reproduction is to be resumed when the reproduction of the title is interrupted; and a CPU 4 that discriminates whether the title to be reproduced this time is an interrupted title whose reproduction is to be resumed or a title whose contents are to be reproduced from its head, particularizes a resumed part on the basis of the stop position information when the title to be reproduced this time is an interrupted title whose reproduction is to be resumed and outputs a still picture representing the particularized resumed part, and outputs a preset thumbnail picture when the title to be reproduced this time is a title whose contents are to be reproduced from its head.
