PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: energy for cooling is required because cold air escapes every time opening a door of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: The door of the refrigerator is a slidable airtight door, and is formed with a hole allowing passage of the cold air on the rear side. Thereby, the cold air can be shut in a space drawn by suction force to the door rear side generated by drawing out the slide-type door of the refrigerator. By closing the slide-type door, pressure is applied to the cold air shut in the rear space to newly return the cold air inside the slide-type door. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
