PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying apparatus for preventing preparation of germs and unwanted bacteria from being reproduced in water supply piping for supplying water to a spray nozzle. SOLUTION: Antibacterial treatment for forming an antibacterial film is performed to the inner periphery wall of the water supply piping 4 for supplying water to the spray nozzle 2. Therefore, when the humidifying apparatus 1 has been at halt for a long time, germs and unwanted bacteria cannot be reproduced in water staying in the water supply piping 4 for preventing contamination. Even if the humidifying apparatus starts to be operated when an operation is resumed, contaminated water where the germs and unwanted bacteria are reproduced cannot be sprayed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
