PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agrochemical granular hydrating agent which has high diffusion dispersibility in water and has such the excellent diffusion dispersibility as capable of being sufficiently diffused and dispersed even on the preparation of a diluted liquid under an insufficiently stirring condition. SOLUTION: This agrochemical granular hydrating agent is characterized by comprising (a) hydratable granules containing an agrochemically active ingredient and (b) at least one acid salt which is held on the surfaces of the granules and is selected from the group consisting of arylsulfonates, arylsulfonate-formalin condensates, aryl sulfates, aryl phosphates, alkyl sulfonates, alkyl sulfates, alkenyl sulfates, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfates, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphates, and lignin sulfonates.
