PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal an item stored in a tube surely and evenly and to provide a method and device for sealing the tube with improved workability. SOLUTION: This relates to a tube sealing method for sealing a tube in a condition that an item needs to be sealed is stored in a tube. A heating member is provided on the outer peripheral face of the sealed part of the tube, and the member is heated by using a high frequency wave induction heater. Then the heat sealed part is deformed for making the tube in an air-tight condition. The tube is deformed at least either by twisting force or pulling force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
