Fuel injection nozzle comprises an injection passage (6) having at least one group of at least two micropassages. The micropassages taper from the inner side of a seat passage (7) or a blind hole (8) toward the outer side of the nozzle body (2). An independent claim is also included for an alternative fuel injection nozzle. Preferred Features: The group of micropassages consists of a first (6a) and a second micropassage (6b). The fuel is a subcritical, low-viscosity fuel.
