A two piece endotracheal intubation device (5) is provided having a multidirectional eyepiece (8), a suction port (24) and a fiber optic assembl y (13) that enables a practitioner to apply suction to a patient's airway whil e at the same time visualizing the airway from any position relative to the patient for insertion of the endotracheal tube.
