CONDUCTIVE ROLLER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller which has superior fouling resistance in spite of a single-layer structure provided with no surface coat layer and an image forming device which is mounted with the conductive roller.

SOLUTION: The conductive roller is made of a rubber composition containing: (A) 100 mass pts. ethylene propylene rubber of 5 to 25 in Mooney viscosity ML1+4at 100°C or 100 mass pts. ethylene propylene rubber obtained by blending ethylene propylene rubber of 5 to 25 in Mooney viscosity ML1+4at 100°C and ethylene propylene rubber of 25 or more in Mooney viscosity ML1+4at 100°C so that the Mooney viscosity ML1+4at 100°C is 5 to 25; (B) a 5 to 30 mass pts. plasticizer; and (C) a 1 to 80 mass pts. conductive material. The image forming device is mounted with the conductive roller.
