<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily release a function limit even for an inexpensive image processing apparatus (composite machine) not provided with an operation panel by which complicated operations such as the entry of a release key can be attained. <P>SOLUTION: When a function limit of a scanner function whose use is limited is released in the image processing apparatus provided with the scanner function whose use is limited in addition to basic functions of a copy function and a printer function, a function limit releasing program to release the function limit of the scanner function is worked on a host PC, and the function limit of the scanner function whose use is limited in the image processing apparatus is automatically released when the host PC and the image processing apparatus are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
