<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor for executing data processing requested from a client device through a network capable of preventing a user from being given any inconvenience even when any failure is generated in a communication environment. <P>SOLUTION: A communicating state managing part 62 judges the presence/absence of the failure of a communicating function through a first communicating part 54 or a second communicating part 56, and records the result in a management table. At the time of executing connection processing through the second communicating part 56 with a client device 30, a communication control part 68 refers to the communication environment through the first communicating part 54 recorded in a management table, and decides whether or not the connection of the client device 30 is permitted, and controls the second communicating part 56.
