<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium which shows a feel of glossiness such as seen in a silver salt photograph and also shows high abrasion resistance and printer carrying properties in particular. <P>SOLUTION: A treating solution containing silicone rubber particulates is applied to the recording layer containing a pigment and jointing agent, which is deposited on an air-permeable support. Then, the recording layer under its wet state is pressed on a heated mirror finish face to dry the same, thereby providing glossiness to the surface of the recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
