摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material which shows a highly glossy inkjet recording image of superb quality on one side and suitability for heat-sensitive recording and inkjet recording on the other side, and the low level of wearability of a heating part, with the advantages that an ink receiving layer or an inkjet recording image is hardly susceptible to scratching during heat-sensitive recording and is free from problems such as the desensitizing of a heat-sensitive recording layer by inkjet ink, the fading of a heat-sensitive recording image, and fogging and the creasing of an inkjet printing image. <P>SOLUTION: This ink jet recording material is formed of a porous ink receiving layer containing an inorganic fine particle with an average primary particle diameter of not more than 100 nm, a cationic compound and an organic binder on one side of a support and the heat-sensitive recording layer on the other side. The support is a water-resistant support with at least one side being non-susceptible to water, and has the porous ink receiving layer containing the inorganic fine particle with an average primary particle diameter of not more than 100 nm, a spherical particle with an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 20 &mu;m, the cationic compound and the organic binder, formed on the heat-sensitive recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
