<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid material excellent in dead hold property, resealable property without use of aluminum foil. <P>SOLUTION: The lid material has a resealing tab at the outer peripheral edge and is formed of a laminated body to seal the container opening. The laminated body is made of polyester based film at the outermost layer and a resin layer chiefly composed of one or more kinds of resin selected from a group composed of polyolefin based resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and ethylene acrylate copolymer at the innermost layer.
