<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion which uses a rare earth fluorescent complex, maintains a specified range of the volume average particle diameter, and excels in dispersibility, and a method for preparing the dispersion which reduces the amount of a medium included, and simultaneously reduces the frequency of replacement of the medium as such. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing the aqueous dispersion comprises dispersing a rare earth fluorescent complex and an anionic group-containing organic polymer compound into an aqueous medium containing an organic solvent, and removing the solvent from the aqueous dispersion, where the solvent removal step and/or the dispersion step in the above preparing method is conducted at a temperature of 30-50°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
