OFFSET MEASUREMENT METHOD AND MEASUREMENT SYSTEM FOR TRANSMISSION TIMING OF CELLULAR BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly measure an offset of the transmission timing of a cellular base station.

SOLUTION: A transmission timing offset measurement apparatus for the cellular base station includes: a plurality of cellular antennas placed at different places; an antenna switching section 68 to switch the antennas; a cellular receiver 55; a reception timing measurement section 33 for measuring reception timing from a received signal by the cellular receiver by referencing a reference time; a processing section 66 for calculating an offset estimated value of the transmission timing from the measured reception timing and discriminating the offset of the transmission timing by using the calculated offset estimate value of the transmission timing; and a storage section for storing the calculated offset estimate value.
