<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart a maintenance operation from a state just before a process ends abnormally in the maintenance operation even in such a case through a maintenance information providing apparatus which provides information regarding maintenance successively while receiving indications from a user according to an electronic manual for maintenance in which information on procedures and countermeasures concerned with the maintenance operation, question items concerned with fault investigation, etc., is described in a computer-readable language. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a history information generation part 20 which generates a history of information provided for the user and a storage device 14 which stores the history information. When a process being carried out based upon the electronic manual for maintenance concerned with one operation is shifted in the halfway to a process according to the electronic manual for maintenance concerned with other operation, the history information generation part 20 records history information of the shift destination in a layer below the history information on the one operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
