<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a scalability and an operation efficiency by forming a VPN having constants set to be larger than constants in the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: A capsulizer 11a receives a user MAC frame (f) from a user site #1, and attaches a layer header H to set an arbitrary VPN thereto to capsulize the user MAC frame (f) and to generate a layer MAC frame F. A decapsulizer 12b receives the layer MAC frame F, and, when an edge destination address is the address of its own subscriber interface based on the layer header H and recognized to have been transmitted from an edge node device in an identical virtual LAN, extracts the user MAC frame f from the layer MAC frame F and decapsulizes it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
