PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool equipped with a blade plate having at least one cutting blade geometrically limited to remarkably reduce wear in order to machine the valve seat in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Two support areas (27, 29) are arranged at the angle ofαso that the bisector of the angleαis substantially perpendicular with respect to an active cutting blade (9) to remove chips from the valve seat (11).
