PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chaff-based heat insulator as an alternative to conventional heat insulators to solve pollution problems associated with the conventional ones, including the problems of industrial waste and atmospheric contamination due to the use of chemical constituents in most of the conventional products. SOLUTION: Chaff is hardened with a non-formalin adhesive to form a chaff-based heat insulator wrapped in waterproof water such as waste paper (newspaper, etc.) The use of chaff as raw material contributes to reducing the labor required of farmers to dispose of large amounts of chaff each year and turning the insulator into soil even if it is disposed of as industrial waste.
