PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current source circuit which can optionally set the temperature coefficient of an output current while suppressing an increase in circuit scale. SOLUTION: A control part 10 controls an npn transistor Q11 and an npn transistor Q12 so that their currents are equal and their emitter potentials are equal to each other, so a potential difference having a positive temperature coefficient corresponding to differences in size and shape between those npn transistors Q11 and Q12 is generated between the bases of those transistors. A current I1 generated by a first current generation part 20 corresponding to the potential difference has a positive temperature coefficient. Further, the base-emitter voltage of the npn transistor Q11 has a negative temperature coefficient, so a current I2 generated by a second current generation part 30 corresponding to it has a negative temperature coefficient. The temperature coefficient of a current Iref composed of those currents is therefore set to a desired value. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
