BONDING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device by which manhours are reduced by preventing the loading failure and the bonding failure of substrates. SOLUTION: A bonding machine comprises; an upper stage and a lower stage for adsorbing a 1st and a 2nd substrates transported into a bonding unit chamber to bond them; a supporting means for supporting the 2nd substrate: a lifting means for lifting the substrates; and a means which is arranged in the bonding unit chamber and fixes the bonded substrates. The method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is carried out by using the bonding machine and comprises processes for: loading the 1st and 2nd substrates onto each stage; mounting the loaded 2nd substrate on the supporting means by driving the supporting means and evacuating the chamber; bonding the 1st substrate and the 2nd substrate together; and unloading the 2nd substrate from the lower stage by using the lifting means.
