PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method by which transmission efficiency in the whole system is improved by accommodating a carrier between access points. SOLUTION: This communication method comprises a carrier release step for transmitting a "carrier release notification" from an access point where it is decided that the excess number of carriers to a current communication traffic is secured to a peripheral access point, a communication step for communicating by adding the released carrier when the peripheral access point that has received the "carrier release notification" decides that the number of carriers is not sufficient on the current communication traffic, and the communication step that the noticed released carriers are usable.
