PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a specified electronic apparatus cannot be accessed easily from the outside while ensuring security. SOLUTION: In the operating method of an apparatus in an information processing system comprising an electronic apparatus, a server and a unit for accessing to the electronic apparatus, the access unit receives an access request to the server, urges the server to transmit the access information of the electronic apparatus, transmits a transmission instruction having an access unit identifier, receives the access information of the electronic apparatus transmitted from the server in response to the transmission of the transmission instruction, receives operating screen information from the electronic apparatus based on the access information of the electronic apparatus, displays an operating screen based on the operating screen information, and transmits apparatus operating information inputted based on the operating screen to the electronic apparatus, thus accessing the specified electronic apparatus easily from the outside while ensuring security.
