PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of effectively cooling the neighborhood of an injection hole 8 and a seat part 9, inhibiting the change of the injection amount caused by the accumulation of deposit and the change of spray shape, and being mounted on a cylinder head 2 even in a limited mounting space without giving the influence on the present shape and structure. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve wherein a cooling mechanism 24 having a heat absorbing part near the seat part 9 and the injection hole 8, and applying the cooling water or a heat pipe, is mounted to radiate the heat to the external, and a nozzle needle 10 reciprocating at an injector part 3 having the fuel injection hole 8 faced to a combustion chamber 7 and the seat part 9, is lifted from the seat part 9 to inject the fuel into the combustion chamber 8, the cooling mechanism 24 having the heat absorbing part is mounted near the injection hole 8, and the heat from the heat absorbing part can be radiated to the external of the injector part 3.
