PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for a liquid-seal rotary pump most suitable for use or a purpose at a low cost by forming the casing with a plurality of elements and joining those elements. SOLUTION: In the rotary pump in which the center of the casing is formed so as to become different in the axial direction of an impeller, the casing is formed by joining a plurality of casing elements divided in the axial direction. In the inner surface of the elements, cylindrical space is formed, and the space of the adjacent casing element is aligned in the axial direction, thereby forming a pump chamber.
