PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sintered ore by which the yield of a product and its cold strength are improved by effectively utilizing inexpensive high crystal water-containing iron ore and steelmaking slag in the slag produced in the works. SOLUTION: High crystal water-containing iron ore of≥4 mass% crystal water, is blended at≥40 mass% to the total amount of iron ore and the steelmaking slag of 5-30 mass% FeO in the slag, is blended so as to become≥1.0 mass% ((FeO/Fe)×100%) as the ratio of FeO in the steelmaking slag and Fe in the high crystal water-containing iron ore. Then, a rise in fusing ratio by utilizing the high crystal water-containing iron ore and a consequent decrease in fluidity of the molten iron are prevented by blending the FeO-containing steelmaking slag.
