GRAIN WASHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain washing device which can efficiently wash the bran layer of grains in a short time with a small amount of water without breaking the grains. SOLUTION: An agitator rotating at a circumferential speed of 200-500 m/min by a rotary shaft is set in a washing tank 4 for housing a mixture of water and grains. The agitator is formed to be separated at a constant distance from the rotary shaft and to extend over the upper and lower parts of the washing tank, and a bubble space 14 of 1-50 mm is formed between the rotational locus of the agitator and the inside wall of the washing tank.
