PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for generating minus ions whose good effect upon a living body is remarked and effectively discharging the same to the outside of a vacuum cleaner body. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has a motor-driven blower chamber 20 storing a motor-driven blower 19, and provided with an exhaust port 23 for discharging the exhaust from the motor-driven blower 19 to the outside of a vacuum cleaner body 1. A minus ion generator 27 to which coating material containing natural radioactive material such as monazite is applied or a minus ion generator formed of material containing natural radioactive material such as monazite is disposed in the exhaust port 23.
