ADJUSTABLE ARMREST

An armrest for a console and associated seat. The armrest comprises an armrest assembly and a support member coupled to the armrest assembly. A linkage assembly is coupled to the console and the support member, wherein the armrest assembly moves in a vertical direction and maintains a horizontal relationship with respect to the console and the seat. Another embodiment of the armrest includes a constant force spring coupled to the console and the support member.
